Lunchtime concert: Berliner Luftblech play brass music.

A lunchtime concert lets you drop into the Philharmonie spontaneously during your lunch break, with free admission. Performers are often members of the Berliner Philharmoniker or the Karajan-Akademie, but also guests of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester, the Staatskapelle Berlin or Berlin's music academies. In this appearance by Berliner Luftblech, Balázs Drahos and Valentin Fischer play trumpet, Robert Franz horn, Michel Schwalgin trombone and Jasper Nolte tuba. The programme ranges from a traditional number and Viktor Ewald through Kevin McKee and Sonny Kompanek to an arrangement of the overture from Johann Strauss's „Die Fledermaus".
