Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Stanislav Kochanovsky mit Jörg Widmann
Konzerthaus Berlin, 3, 10117 Berlin, Mitte
About
The Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin gives a symphony concert in the Großer Saal of the Konzerthaus Berlin. Stanislav Kochanovsky conducts, with Jörg Widmann appearing as clarinettist whose own works are also on the programme. The programme features Widmann's "Fantasie" for solo clarinet, his Elegie for clarinet and orchestra, and Rachmaninow's Symphony No. 1 in D minor op. 13. The concert brings together two universal musicians who could hardly seem more different at first glance, yet are united by an immediate, lively joy in music.
