MADRE® - Es ist nie zu spät für eine glückliche Kindheit

The theatre play MADRE® can be seen in its German-language premiere, translated from the Spanish by Birgit Kirberg. It was written by author Marta Barceló i Femenías, whose performance rights are represented by the Marta Fluvià Agency. It tells of Anna, a successful advertising manager who designs images of a happy life but never had a harmonious family herself, until she comes across an ad: 'I could be the mother you have always dreamed of.' In a humorous way, the play explores how people seek a family beyond kinship ties and the unexpected effects of capitalist logic, the business of love and new formulas for personal relationships.
