"Manuale des Jetzt – Carte blanche" is an organ concert at the Nikolaikirche, part of the "Nikolai-Musik am Freitag" series. The series accompanies the special exhibition "Chorus – Eine Sound-Installation von Annika Kahrs" and is curated by composer and organist Alexander Moosbrugger. In it, organists give voice to their view of Berlin's history and social questions, bringing together contemporary music with works from earlier centuries. The 30-minute concert presents the organ as an instrument of the present, creating surprising sound experiences and new perspectives.
