„Manuale des Jetzt – Carte blanche“ is an organ concert at the Nikolaikirche in which organists give voice to their personal view of Berlin's history and social questions. It is part of the series „Nikolai-Musik am Freitag“ and accompanies the special exhibition „Chorus – Eine Sound-Installation von Annika Kahrs“. Curated by the composer and organist Alexander Moosbrugger, the series combines contemporary music with works from earlier centuries. The result is surprising sound experiences that present the organ as an instrument of the present.
