“Zwischenstand”: abstract painting by Marco Wachsmuth.

Marco Wachsmuth is showing an exhibition of abstract painting titled “Zwischenstand” at Bohneville Berlin, with a vernissage on 06.11.2026 from 18:00. In his pictures nearness and distance shift: what first appears like a still life dissolves into the expanse of a landscape, forms condense and contours dissolve. The “Zwischenstand” (interim state) names this suspension of a provisional order that holds various possibilities and can take a different shape with every look. Wachsmuth trained as a plasterer and completed studies as a 3D artist, art director and photo designer, and previously worked as a graffiti sprayer, club designer and mural painter.
