About
"Meilensteine der modernen Diabetologie 2026" is a free event for people with diabetes, their relatives and anyone interested. It is organised by diabetesDE – Deutsche Diabetes-Hilfe and combines the established series "Meilensteine der modernen Diabetologie" with the scientific lectures for World Diabetes Day under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Health. On three stages, renowned experts give patient-oriented talks on topics such as obesity, nutrition, artificial intelligence and the latest technology, with Q&A sessions and a concluding panel discussion. The focus topic in 2026 is 20 years of GLP-1 receptor agonists ("Abnehmspritze"); an industry exhibition also offers opportunities for questions and information.
