Midwife (US) & Devin Shaffer (US) — Live at the church
Start.Bahn - Genezarethkirche, Herrfurthplatz 14, 12049 Berlin
About
A live concert at the Genezarethkirche featuring the US project Midwife with songwriter Devin Shaffer as support. Midwife is the project of Madeline Johnston, a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer based in Southern Colorado, whose sparse, emotionally charged experimental pop she calls “Heaven Metal” — emotional music about devastation and catharsis, writing primarily about grief. Devin Shaffer, a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from New York, moves between folk, slowcore, and dreamy indie rock, combining intimate vocals with warm, understated arrangements inspired by memory, place, and everyday moments.
