About

“Mind the *gap - Women Artists in the Gemäldegalerie” consists of short tours through the Gemäldegalerie, starting every half hour. Behind the event is the initiative fair share! Sichtbarkeit für Künstlerinnen* e.V., which cooperates with the Gemäldegalerie of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. The tours present six outstanding yet little-known women painters from the collection: Sofonisba Anguissola, Marie Eléonore Godefroid, Judith Leyster, Rachel Ruysch, Anna Dorothea Therbusch and Anne Vallayer-Coster. The meeting point is the foyer; participation is free with a valid admission ticket.
