About
"Monströs" is a group exhibition at Galerie im Turm in which four artists explore the figure of the monster. Emma Adler, Caroline Douville, Marven Rabe and Milena Wojhan present works in which mythical creatures such as vampires, zombies and werewolves appear as symbols of resistance and critiques of power. The exhibition asks how the monstrous gives shape to cultural fears while also exposing oppression and colonial continuities. It is curated by Carlotta Gonindard Liebe.
