Nachlese | écho 2026

A literary discussion devoted to the French 'rentrée littéraire', presenting new releases and current trends in contemporary French literature. It is organised by the France Center of the Free University of Berlin together with the Institut français Berlin, and this edition marks the meeting's tenth anniversary. Ulrike Schneider and Jürgen Ritte join a surprise guest to discuss the award-winning works of the 2026 literary season, how France's major literary prizes are awarded, and developments in the French literary world. The event takes place in German, is streamed live, and the audience is invited to ask questions.
