About
A reading and conversation in the Großer Saal of Literaturhaus Berlin, part of the festival »Across the Page«, which connects British and Irish literary voices through storytelling and translation. Nikesh Shukla, editor of the anthology "The Good Immigrant", co-founder of the Jhalak Prize and of "The Good Literary Agency", speaks with Gesa Stedman (HU Berlin). The discussion covers Shukla's recent work and how the English-language book market is developing after Brexit and in populist times. The event takes place in English and is held in cooperation with the Centre for British Studies and the British Council.
