About

The Nähcafé (sewing café) is an open, creative meeting where people repair, restyle and upcycle textiles together – hemming trousers, patching holes and replacing zips. It is run by BUND Berlin and is not a course but works on the principle of help for self-help, with participants exchanging ideas and supporting each other. It is for anyone who enjoys sewing, embroidering, darning and mending, whether professional or beginner. Sewing machines are available, places are limited, and registration by email or phone is requested.
