About

"Ocean Futures" is a special exhibition at the Futurium in Berlin. The museum presents its first-ever special exhibition, dedicated to the oceans and their futures. At its core are the large-scale installation "Balangay Spacecraft" by Filipino artist Leeroy New and the stories of two fishing families – one German, one from the Philippines. The exhibition is part of the UN Ocean Decade and invites reflection on climate change, rising sea levels, and shared responsibility.
