About
A public demonstration shows live how lithography is printed with a historic stone press. The event is held by the Käthe-Kollwitz-Museum Berlin and led by Diogo deCalle. Nearly half of Käthe Kollwitz's 275 print works are lithographs, which she used especially in the second half of her life to reach a wide audience with posters and leaflets. Berlin master stone and offset printer Dietmar Liebsch discovered the press from 1866 and two lithography stones by the artist, which the friends' association of the museum acquired in 2016.
