Ida Gerhardi – „Und alles tanzte“ is a special exhibition at the Käthe-Kollwitz-Museum Berlin. The museum presents around 40 paintings and drawings by the painter Ida Gerhardi (1862–1927), mostly from her Paris years around 1905. Her expressive dance pictures and depictions of Paris nightlife are at the centre, together with striking self-portraits. Käthe Kollwitz joined the artist in Paris in 1904, and a strong affection and lasting friendship grew between the two women.
