About
"Painters on Paper 1" is a group exhibition showing work by ten international, Berlin-based painters in GlogauAIR's Project Space. It is the first edition of a new series by George Oates exploring painters' relationship to their work on paper, co-curated with guests; this one is curated by Oates, Thomas Delaroziere and Theo Metais. It looks at the different relationships these painters have to paper and the part it plays in their practice, from preparatory drawings and experiments to intended stand-alone works. Artists shown include Elke Foltz, Thomias Radin, Runa Ikeda, Jade Cassidy, Deividas Šidlauskas, Shuaitong Zong and Benro Adegbenro.
