The exhibition „Alle Räder stehen still... Arbeit in der Kunst“ presents mainly artistic works dealing with the depiction of work, from the founding era of industrialisation to the present. It is curated by Ulrike Dornis, Rebekka Liebmann and Dr. Martin Steffens. Featured artists include Käthe Kollwitz, Rosa Loy, Philipp Franck and Friedrich Overbeck. The show examines the transformation of the working world, alienation, changing professions and the working world 4.0, with (post-)socialist ideas of work meeting investigations of today's working conditions.
