Performing Arts Season
Haus der Berliner Festspiele, Schaperstraße 24, 10719 Berlin, Wilmersdorf
About
Performing Arts Season is a series of international dance, theatre and performance works staged at Haus der Berliner Festspiele and at Gropius Bau. It is presented by Berliner Festspiele, which has run the programme during the autumn and winter months since 2023. The 2026/27 edition takes its cue from myths and rituals as the origins of the performing arts and asks whether these can connect people and inspire reverence for the dignity of life. It opens with the German premiere of the stage version of Balkan Erotic Epic, a new work by performance artist Marina Abramović.
