About
This is a reading and talk as part of the Philosophischer Salon under the title »Mit Einstein denken. Kosmische Religiosität und das Gefühl des Universums«. The philosopher of science Fynn Ole Engler uses selected reading passages to show Einstein's thinking and actions in the light of his particular form of secular spirituality. It explores how Einstein did not hastily resolve tensions and contradictions but made them the starting point of new insights, and how this way of thinking can be carried into the present. The evening is hosted by the publisher Matthes & Seitz Berlin, and admission is free.
