Poethical Readings mit Valentina Desideri und Denise Ferreira da Silva
Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Linienstraße 227, 10178 Berlin, Mitte
About
Poethical Readings is an event within the School of Self-Defense at the Volksbühne, taking the form of a dialogue and reading in English in the Prater-Foyer. Valentina Desideri and Denise Ferreira da Silva develop experimental forms of reading from their artistic practices, using reading tools such as tarot, Political Therapy, palmistry, Fake Therapy, Reiki, astrology and philosophy. The readings work with images and seek to make complexity visible rather than deliver answers or fix single meanings. Conceived as a form of self-defense, they aim to expand perception and open up new possibilities for action beyond settled certainties.
