This is a reading celebrating the launch of the eighth issue of the Weiter Schreiben magazine, titled „Fäden, Stoffe, Schnitte“. The programme is run by the non-profit organisation WIR MACHEN DAS. The texts deal with cloths, carpets or trousers: resistance expressed through clothing, centuries-old cultural techniques and great longings. Readers are Lily Farhadpour, Mubeen Kishany, Karima Shabrang, Meral Şimşek and Fariba Vafi, with music by Amir Naghavia and German translations read by Jasmin Shakeri.
