About
“Ponyo” is an animated film screening at the Babylon cinema. It was directed by Hayao Miyazaki and features Yuria Nara, Hiroki Doi and Cate Blanchett, among others. Critics
8.0Very good
Critics praise the charming hand-drawn visuals, imaginative watercolour style and endearing characters. They fault the overly childlike, simplistic storytelling and an unconvincing young protagonist, while most still call it magical.
