PULK'O'WEEN – FROM HIGH SCHOOL T0 HELL

PULK'O'WEEN – FROM HIGH SCHOOL T0 HELL is a show between horror, music and black humor in which the gloomy everyday school life turns into a colourful trip to hell. It begins with a rebellion against boxes, expectations and the rules of a world that dictates who you have to be – yet whoever stands up against the system opens doors that would have been better left closed. The show addresses themes as current as they come: exclusion, performance pressure, peer pressure and the longing to be seen and accepted by society, telling of the monsters of our society and of those we create ourselves (FSK 16, ages 16 and up). Behind the production is the non-profit PULK Musiktheater e.V., which promotes cultural education and creative togetherness in Berlin; the ensemble develops all the show's content together over a project year, and all performers appear without pay.
