A queer guided tour through the Hamburger Kunsthalle's collection titled "We're not just a trend: Kunst war schon immer auch queer". Selected works of art and prints from the Kupferstichkabinett are presented and placed in the context of queer history and queer identities. Focuses include the construct and symbolism of binarity, erotic expressions in the many love affairs of gods and goddesses, homosociality and homosexuality in depictions of friends and saints, as well as modern-day debates on queerness and social gender. The event is run by the Hamburg regional chapter of the Deutscher Juristinnenbund e.V., and all FLINTA persons are welcome regardless of membership.
