“Jenseits der Norm?” is a dialogic public tour through the new presentation of the Ethnologisches Museum's collections. Organized by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin at the Humboldt Forum, it takes a queer look at genders and sexualities around the globe. It covers diverse gender roles, forms of relationships, initiation rituals, colonial collecting practices and gender narratives in the museum context. The tour lasts 60 minutes and is held in German.
