About
"Refabricated Memories" is an introductory workshop into the world of fabrics and fibres, part of the Shape Festival. It asks what relationship fabrics have to the sea and breaks away from conventional and industrial narratives around fashion, style and costumes. Led by Pepe Dayaw, the workshop sets out on a unique, multi-layered journey through the origins and foundations of the clothes we wear. No prior sewing knowledge is needed; materials such as fabric scraps or old clothes may be brought along.
