Rope Hangout: Knots is a relaxed community hangout where everyone researches rope together, with no pressure to perform and regardless of experience level. It is facilitated by Ceci Ferox, a queer, non-binary sexologist who has been teaching bondage and BDSM for ten years and runs workshops at Karada House. This month's special focus is knots: share your favourite knot, learn a new one, get drawn into the Ashley Book of Knots, and the theme is an open invitation rather than a guideline. It is not a rope jam or play space but a peer learning environment, with a facilitator looking after the space and safety, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks available, and observers just as welcome.
