Clärchens Ballhaus, Auguststraße 24, 10117 Berlin, Mitte
About
A chamber concert in which musicians of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin perform in the mirrored hall of Clärchens Ballhaus. The programme features Hans Gál's Serenade for clarinet, violin and violoncello, Erwin Schulhoff's Five Pieces for string quartet and Carl Maria von Weber's Clarinet Quintet in B flat. With four dates in the 2025/2026 season, the orchestra revives an old tradition, bringing chamber music back to the ballroom with its unique patina and acoustics in the heart of Berlin. Among those performing are Olga Polonsky (violin), Thomas Holzmann (clarinet), Hyojin Jun (violin), Viktor Bátki (viola) and Claudia Benker-Schreiber (violoncello).
