Salon bei Schleiermacher 'Johannes Bobrowski. Eine Hommage.'

The Salon bei Schleiermacher at the Schleiermacherhaus is a homage to the poet Johannes Bobrowski, whose poems and stories tell of the eastern landscapes of his homeland and its region of many peoples. Gabi Streichhahn and host Ute Falkenau will take part; the evening is organised by the Protestant congregation of St. Marien-Friedrichswerder. Planned as a musical-scentic evening with chamber music, it promises a startling blend of weighty archaism and modernity carried to the utmost – a rare linguistic delight.
