About

"SAN PAOLO. Das Martyrium von Pasolini" is a theatre production combining theatre, dance, video and sound art. It centres on Pier Paolo Pasolini, who worked on a screenplay about Saint Paul that he never finished and who was murdered under circumstances that remain unexplained to this day. The ensemble, led by director David Stöhr and dramaturg Dirk Brauner, explores what a Pauline conversion could look like today in the face of resurgent fascism. Pasolini believed that Paul's conversion from persecutor to herald of the faith is still taking place.
