About
"Schwarze Löcher" (Black Holes) is a fulldome show in the planetarium hall of the Archenhold Observatory, presenting with live narration and unique visualizations how and where black holes form, what makes them special and how they can be explored. The 60-minute show comes from the Spanish production company Double Dome Films. It explains these mysterious, practically invisible phenomena where conventional physics and imagination reach their limits. It also covers the first high-resolution image of a black hole presented with the Event Horizon Telescope in April 2019.
