About

Silent Disco Tour – Regierungsviertel is a roughly 90-minute walk'n'dance tour in which participants dance through Berlin's government quarter wearing wireless headphones. It is run by Silent Move (www.silentmove.berlin); a host leads a fixed route along the Spree past the main station, Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus, Paul-Löbe-Haus, the Swiss embassy and the Reichstag, with group activities and flashmob moments along the way. On the Saturday tour there are two music channels switchable at the touch of a button, offering hits of the 80s, 90s and 2000s plus German hits, with individually adjustable volume. The roughly 2.5 km tour is not a classic guided walk but a silent disco in motion in the open air.
