Roland Satterwhite: jazz violin solo with harmonizer.

A solo concert for violin, voice and a self-developed live harmonizer, part of the bar's Silent Series of quiet, immersive live experiences with optional headphone use. Roland Satterwhite combines modern jazz with original songs rooted in storytelling and political reflection, exploring the violin as a complete musical language whose harmonic possibilities the harmonizer extends in real time. The new solo project is the result of years of exploring how a single instrument can carry the depth, complexity and narrative arc of a full musical world. With support from Yamaha, Sennheiser, René George Klaviere and GREVE STUDIO; at the bar: Dietmar Althoff & Juan Cucalon.
