About
„Speaking of Video Art“ is a monthly series by the Berlinische Galerie offering a small-group discussion of the current programme in the IBB-Videoraum. Participants watch videos together and read short texts, this time the third film of the trilogy „Particular Waters“ by Su Yu Hsin about the shift from fossil energy extraction to microelectronics production at the Dresden Gittersee site. This is accompanied by texts by Olaf Klenke, material from the Robert-Havemann-Archive on GDR opposition protests, and quotes from the book „wildes wiederholen“ edited by Suza Husse and Elske Rosenfeld. The series is moderated by Louisa Engel; participation is free of charge with online registration.
