About
The “Art & Science Opening Panel: Tracing Art & Science from the 1990s to Today” is an English-language discussion on three decades of collaboration between art and science, a field that began developing in the 1990s and has moved from shaping speculative futures to contributing critical reflection. It is hosted by Berlin Science Week as the opening of the Art & Science Practitioner’s Route at the Festival Centre. The panel brings together Giulia Bini (Head of Arts at CERN), Christina Landbrecht (head of the art programme at Schering Stiftung), Sara Morais Dos Santos Bruss (curator for Scientific, Digital and Media Practices at Haus der Kulturen der Welt) and Christian Rauch (Festival Director of Berlin Science Week), moderated by Clara Roca-Sastre, Programme Co-Lead and Curator of Berlin Science Week. Entry is free; to attend, please book the free 3-Day Festival Centre Pass, with free seating – come early for a good spot.
