About
Stabi Kompakt is a roughly 30-minute introduction showing how the Staatsbibliothek (State Library) works: an orientation tour past the most important points of contact and service areas in the Haus Potsdamer Straße building. It is organised by the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, and those taking part meet in front of the cafeteria on the first floor. The digital offerings are also presented, and it explains how to search for and order literature using the StabiKat catalogue. The introduction is held in German, and registration is not required for individuals.
