About
TANESHA: Intensive Kunty Class with the South American Queen is a workshop in English at the Roter Salon. Behind it is the Brazilian artist TANESHA, born in Juiz de Fora and now based in São Paulo, who as founder of the Kiki House of Cabal and South American Mother of the House of Basquiat has decisively shaped the South American ballroom scene. Crowned the "South America Queen" by ballroom legend Kevin JZ Prodigy, she combines performance, movement and voice in her practice and has appeared with artists such as Pabllo Vittar, Gloria Groove and Lia Clark. The class offers insight into her artistic practice.
