Tempo Havanna: Cuban salsa, son and bolero rhythms.

Tempo Havanna brings the musical soul of Cuba to life through rousing original compositions, interpreted in a modern, urban-Cuban style and performed in a traditional Cuban band format. Latin American rhythms—from salsa and son to bolero and cha-cha-cha—carry the flair of Havana in their luggage and satisfy the longing for Caribbean lightheartedness, passion, and zest for life. On stage are Alexander Scull (perc, conga, leader), Rafael Martinez (b, voc), Carlos Corona (tres), Pablo Muñoz Barragán (sax), Bernardo Perez (bongo), Montalvo Calderón (g) and Ernesto Zamora (p). With sounds ranging from romantically lighthearted to energetic, Tempo Havanna inspires its audience to embrace a more relaxed, southern-style pace, to enjoy life to the fullest, and to celebrate the joy of dance—all in the Tempo Havanna style.
