About
The Diego Alejandro Ensemble performs contemporary jazz and jazz fusion at the b-flat club. The Berlin-based project is led by Chilean bassist and composer Diego Alejandro, joined by two saxophones, trombone, keys and drums. The music blends modern jazz, groove, psychedelic textures and South American rhythms with influences from jazz fusion, neo-soul and contemporary urban music. The group currently presents pieces from the instrumental album „Onirk Sequence“, which explores interconnected musical worlds with a strong focus on groove, texture and collective improvisation.
