About

The Wedding Entertainer is a tragicomedy about the badchan Moishe, who in Orthodox Jewish tradition hosts weddings with humour, songs and plenty of improvisation. Once among the most popular performers in his profession, his sharp tongue and fondness for alcohol cost him reputation and career. When a wealthy childhood friend returns from the United States for his son's wedding, Moishe sees a chance for a comeback and for the money he needs for his own daughter's wedding. But at the side of the American star badchan Meshulam, the festivities increasingly spiral out of control.
