UdK Berlin: Harsh Narayan, Sarangi – Vortrag im Seminar von Irene Galindo Quero

Harsh Narayan, one of the outstanding sarangi players of his generation, gives a lecture-demonstration on the art of the sarangi, the concept of rāga and the principles of musical development within the Hindustani music tradition. He is the grandson of sarangi master Pandit Ram Narayan and son of sarod virtuoso Pandit Brij Narayan, and thus stands in one of India's most significant musical traditions. At the same time he develops his own artistic voice, which has led him to international concert stages. The event takes place in Irene Galindo Quero's seminar; guests are warmly welcome.
