About

"Vom Boden auf den Teller: Warum Bodenleben unsere Ernährung sichert" is an interactive workshop on the Weltacker at the Späth'schen Baumschulen in Treptow. Together with Dr. Karin Pirhofer, participants explore the life beneath the Weltacker, examine soil samples using scientific methods such as the soil microphone, and share their own experiences with soil. The workshop addresses questions of who lives in the soil, why the edaphon is vital for our survival, and what role soil organisms play in agroecology and our nutrition. Afterwards, participants understand the connections between soil life, agriculture and healthy nutrition and can apply soil research methods themselves.
