On Germany's national reading-aloud day, Gropiusstadt joins in and reads aloud. The initiative comes from the Quartiersmanagement Gropiusstadt Nord. At nine locations across the neighbourhood there are reading sessions for children, families, adults and seniors – from picture books to novels and fairy tales, some in several languages. All readings are free and no registration is needed.
