David Douard: WAK'E S’ is an exhibition of sculpture, painting, drawing and text at Konrad Fischer Galerie. David Douard, born in 1983 in Perpignan and working in Paris, presents for his third exhibition at the gallery a suspended universe of floral contaminations, masks and poems. Sculptures in wood, aluminium and glass meet softly metallic drawings and paintings, with the plinth, the frame and the grid tying the works together. The exhibition reflects on the practices of sculpture and painting, drawing on personal material such as the music he listens to, a found object or the memory of a walk.
