The Wildcat in Our Forests: experts on life and protection.

An online lecture (webinar) about the European wildcat, a threatened species that has been returning step by step to many regions of Germany over recent decades. It is organised by BUND e.V., with experts from research and nature conservation offering insights into the wildcat's life and showing how BUND and partners protect and restore its habitats. Topics include how wildcats live, how they differ from house cats, where they occur today, why near-natural forests and meadows matter for their survival, and how you can get active yourself. The webinar is open to anyone interested in nature, offers room for questions, and opens the nationwide „Woche der Wildkatze“.
