About

The Weltgebetstags-Wochenendwerkstatt is a weekend workshop hosted by the Amt für kirchliche Dienste (AKD). It prepares for the worship service for the 2027 World Day of Prayer titled „ für Gerechtigkeit und Frieden – 100 Jahre Weltgebetstag“, written by the International Committee and to be celebrated on 5 March 2027 in countless ecumenical services. The workshop is intended for multipliers who prepare the service for their congregations. It is led by Manon Althaus, a pastor, and the WGT team.
