Wir bauen einen Mars-Rover: LEGO workshop for kids.

"Wir bauen einen Mars-Rover (Gruppen-Workshop)" is a workshop in which participants build a Mars rover together from LEGO bricks and then test how well it drives in a race on a Mars-like test track. The programme is run by the KosmosLab of Stiftung Planetarium Berlin and is designed especially for primary school classes from years 1 to 4, with an ideal group size of 14 to 33 children. Inspired by real space missions, the children find out how these robot-like exploration vehicles are constructed and what tasks rovers perform on celestial bodies such as Mars. This gives them a playful insight into the world of space travel and science, and accompanying adults are welcome to join.
