Wirkungsvoll mit Community Organizing für mehr demokratische Power „von unten“ (Un-)Bezahlbar?!

A professional conference on community organizing as a path to more democratic participation from below. It is hosted by the Dach- und Fachverband der Berliner Selbsthilfekontaktstellen together with the Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft Gemeinwesenarbeit und Soziale Stadtentwicklung Berlin. Authors of the new Community Organizing handbook, people active in initiatives and associations, and funders will come together in dialogue. The focus is on how challenges such as homelessness or disillusionment with democracy can be met through solidarity-based alliances and how financing can be secured long term.
