About
WahlheYmat Talks: Democracy for everyone is an English-language panel discussion on democratic participation in Berlin, where around one million residents cannot vote. Behind it is WahlheYmat e.V., whose monthly series is supported by the Berlin Central and Regional Library (ZLB). The guests are Chantal Chisley (Polnischer Sozialrat e.V.), Esther Nass (StimmlosTrend, WahlheYmat e.V.) and Jonas Drechsler (D2030 – Deutschland neu denken e.V.). Together with the audience they explore how democracy can be made accessible to everyone and adapted to a diverse society – no registration needed, but places are limited.
